Penske Media, owner of over 20 leading media brands, is looking for a qualified Editor to join The Hollywood Reporter, Billboard and Vibe video team in our Los Angeles office. This key role is an integral part of the video team, responsible for creating compelling stories through a new roster of content deployed by the video team. This is a unique opportunity to join an innovative mission-based company and have an immediate impact on a growing team, made up of producers, animators, editors and strategists. The video team has developed a new 2021 show roster and this role will be responsible for creating content in a creative and news-driven environment of blazingly fast-paced entertainment. From daily news and stories to ongoing franchises and personalized content, the video editor will be involved in handling all types of content at all levels. The video editor will be able to quickly edit, create custom graphics, and package the content into short dynamic chunks. Proficiency in emerging and long-standing social / video platforms such as YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook is essential. The main role of the video editor is to work with our teams, bring ideas, technical expertise and create video content that engages our audience across our variety of brands and a multitude of platforms. This role reports to the video production manager.


  • Edit a daily video designed for the web – .com, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, etc.
  • Work with our video producers and team leaders on all video projects
  • Edit high quality videos that meet the needs of the brand and our customers
  • Manage media storage and organization of all raw materials and finished projects
  • Manage multiple changes and ensure on-time delivery.


  • 4 to 5 years of experience in editing, creating and managing digital videos
  • Experience in entertainment, news and music or similar consumer digital media
  • In-depth and current understanding of video distribution in a fast-paced and ever-changing video environment
  • A production history of premium and high-visibility videos for a large audience
  • Experience in finding solutions to logistical challenges
  • Passion for digital / entertainment / news / music
  • Proficiency and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, in particular Adobe Premiere and After Effects
  • Color grading, After Effects, Sound mixing
